Women of Beth Shalom
The Women of Beth Shalom is a community of Women dedicated to living our Jewish Values through sisterhood. We enhance the quality of life at Temple Beth Shalom through a commitment to building relationships in a caring community. We support the missions of Temple Beth Shalom and of Women of Reform Judaism. We value education, participation, spirituality, and connecting to one another, our families, our congregation, and our community.
The Women of Beth Shalom provides the women in our congregation an opportunity to engage in:
- Connecting with other women
- Connecting with women’s roles in Judaism
- Connecting with women’s social, cultural and religious issues
- Connecting with Temple Beth Shalom’s caring community
- Connecting with ourselves
Since its inception in 1993, the Women of Beth Shalom have sponsored various events, with a majority open to ALL Temple Beth Shalom members. A sampling of past programming includes:
