Help Support TBS By Shopping At Kroger!

Temple Beth Shalom has a new program in partnership with Kroger. With your help, TBS can receive a contribution from Kroger every time you buy groceries, and it doesn't cost you anything! Kroger has improved its Kroger Community Rewards program to make this easier than ever for you. In the past, this required the purchase of special cards from TBS, but starting May 1, simply by registering your Kroger Plus Card, Kroger will make these donations on your behalf. Go to http://tbsohio.org/eWindow/KrogerProgramLetter.pdf to download a letter with more info and instructions on how to register!

Join the Great Cellphone Recycling Drive!

In partnership with PaceButler Corp., over the past two months TBS has been collecting unused cellphones for recycling. TBS has collected 20 old cellphones and returned them to PaceButler, who then refurbishes the phones for redeployment in the US or developing countries. Those phones that utilize older technologies or are not functional are recycled in accordance with EPA standards. TBS can earn between $0.50 and $50.00 for most of the phones that we recycle. So if you have some unused cellphones laying around the house, bring them by the Temple and drop them in a phone recycling box. It's a double mitzvah!

Don't Forget...

Temple Beth Shalom Scrip Program

Scrip is a term that means "substitute money". When you purchase scrip, you're purchasing negotiable gift certificates and prepaid cards that are used just like cash. You can use scrip to purchase everyday expenses like food, clothing, and other essentials—and with every purchase, you earn revenue for the Temple. Purchasing scrip is an easy fundraiser in which to participate. You contribute to the Temple by making regular household purchases you would make anyway. Groceries, clothing, toys, gifts, even gasoline can be purchased with scrip. Check with TBS Scrip Coordinator David Neubauer (253-7654) for the latest participating retailer list, or visit www.glscrip.com. Then put your shopping dollars to work for the Temple!
