“The eWindow” — Weekly Temple News
The eWindow is Temple Beth Shalom’s weekly emailed update. It primarily features information on events for the relevant week (from Friday to Thursday), special notices to the congregation, and important upcoming events in the near future (typically those events within a month or so). It’s emailed regularly every Thursday afternoon.
The latest edition is for the week of Feb. 3 - Feb. 9 and can be found under the “Current Newsletter” link to the right; past editions are available in the website archives.
“The Window” — Monthly Newsletter
The Window is a monthly newsletter published by regular mail, email and on this website by Temple Beth Shalom. The Window is the source for news and information about our Temple and Temple membership, with regular features from many of our congregational leaders. The Window also serves as a small fundraiser for our Temple through sales of advertising from area businesses.
The Window is a collaborative effort: articles come in from all over, and the final product is produced by Jo Valentine-Cooper and Adam Inlander.

“The Weekly Roundup” — Religious School News
During the school year (from September to May), we also produce The Weekly Roundup, a weekly emailed update sent to all our Religious School parents about whatever we’re up to at Kehillat Torah Religious School, and what’s coming up soon! It is produced by Rabbi Benjy Bar-Lev and Nora Rubinoff.
The latest edition is from Dec. 11, 2011 and can be found under the “Current School News” link to the right; past editions are available in the website archives or via the Kehillat Torah Newsletter site.
“Israel Update”/“Israel Today”
Rabbi Apothaker has, for several years, provided a printed summary of news of interest with regards to Israel and the greater Jewish community and made them available to interested Erev Shabbat attendees and others. We are now beginning an effort to make these available online in PDF format—complete with convenient links to the original news stories!
The current Update is dated
Jan. 20-22, 2012
and can be found under the “Current Israel Update” link to the right; past editions (where available) can be found in the website archives.

Submissions Information
For The eWindow, submissions should be sent to ewindow@tbsohio.org — we ask that you keep the size reasonably small; preferably no more than two (2) paragraphs.
The deadline for The Window is the 20th of the preceding month. Example: the deadline for the March edition of The Window is February 20th. Send your articles in to Jo Valentine-Cooper at windoweditor@tbsohio.org no later than this date! Paper submissions may be accepted at the Temple Office, but electronic is preferred.
