Tzedakah: So That Each of Us May Help!
Tzedakah (righteous giving) is one of the oldest and most strongly held principles of Judaism. Both the Torah and the Rabbis uphold the concept that a Jew must give tzedakah in order to become a fully spiritual person. Temple Beth Shalom enables its congregants and the community to fulfill the tradition of tzedakah in many ways. One of the most common ways to perform tzedakah is to donate money to one of TBS's various funds.
