Dr. Donald A. Sylvan, Emeritus Professor of Political Science at The Ohio State University and an expert in the field of Middle East Politics, will speaking  on “A New Strategic Coalition in the Middle East: Israel’s Surprising New Arab Partnerships,” at Temple Beth Shalom on Yom Kippur, Wednesday, October 12, 2016, beginning at 3:15 pm.  The presentation will be followed by a Question & Answer session.

October 11th, beginning at 8 p.m. Friedberg will play Max Bruch's Kol Nidrei Op. 47 (1881) written for cello and piano, and will be accompanied by pianist Scot Ashton.
