One of the most influential Jewish musicians in North America, Dan Nichols is a singular talent in the world of Jewish music. A product of the Jewish camping movement, Dan spent ten summers at Goldman Union Camp (GUCI) in Zionsville, Indiana. His anthology includes a wide range of sounds and styles, from energetic Jewish rock anthems to moving interpretations of traditional Jewish liturgy, Jewish youth and adults from around the world draw inspiration from Dan’s music and its positive message of Jewish values, identity and pride.​

Friday, December 1:

  • 6:00PM: An upbeat, musical service that will leave you feeling warm and spiritually connected. We will joyously sing together to celebrate Shabbat, the beauty of Jewish music, and our holy community. These days we need to embrace joy wherever we can. Pizza and salad dinner to follow!

Saturday, December 2:

  • 10:00AM: Families with young children are invited to join together for a Saturday morning  Tot Shabbat service featuring Dan and his music followed by snacks & an activity led by Susie Blank! 

  • 5:00PM: Join us in the round as we lift each other in song and prayer around our indoor campfire. Experience the meditative and healing quality of singing, praying, and just being together for this brief time. We will begin with Havdalah and join our voices together. 

Sunday, December 3:

  • 11:00AM: Join along with our Religious School community for a concert in the JCC New Albany gym! Get your singing voices ready!
