At Temple Beth Shalom, we acknowledge that Jewish learning doesn't end after Confirmation in high school! We aspire to be a congregation of lifelong learners, engaging in and grappling with everything from ancient texts to Jewish ethics, to the Jewish values behind parenting and much more. There’s something for everyone at TBS! Check out our various adult education programs at our Adult Education page.
In this section of the website, you can find information about Temple Beth Shalom's programs to foster Jewish learning in members of all ages.
The Kehillat Torah Religious School is open to students in kindergarten through the 12th grade, and aims for students to develop a deep and lasting sense of Jewish identity and connection to religious tradition, the Hebrew language, and Jewish culture.
In addition, we run the Kibbutz Kef Camp, a summer camp open to third through eighth graders, taking place in August . Mornings are spent at Temple Beth Shalom, brushing up on Hebrew skills, doing creative Jewish projects, and having lunch; afternoons are spent at fun field trips around Columbus, including Zoombezi Bay, Magic Mountain, Highlands Park, and COSI!
