Who We Are
The Women of Beth Shalom is a vital partner in helping our Congregation enrich the lives of our members and the surrounding community. WBS gives each of us the opportunity to combine our heritage of Jewish culture, values, and traditions with our need and desire for personal growth, purposeful action, and meaningful service. We promote learning and spirituality, while helping our members develop new friendships, share in mitzvot, and get involved in synagogue life.
What We Do
As women in our community, we strive to ensure that each member's experience is meaningful. We provide many ways for individuals to get involved, such as serving on one of our exciting and rewarding committees, which is a great way to make a real difference, while making new friends. Our wide variety of events are scheduled throughout the year to reach out to women with a great range of interests.
For an annual commitment of $40.00, you can help The Women of Beth Shalom (WBS) support your dreams and the dreams of our community. Included is a membership to Women of Reform Judaism (WRJ), a network that represents the voice of Reform Jewish Women Worldwide.
The Women of Beth Shalom have had a great year and are looking forward to many new programs next year. Be on the lookout in August, we will be selling Rosh Hashanah baskets for you to wish family and friends a healthy and happy new year. We hope everyone has a wonderful summer and look for our table at the welcome back picnic. Don't forget to join our Facebook group and email us anytime with your thoughts and suggestions.
