Can't make Friday Night Services?

Watch worship services at Temple Beth Shalom live from home via our livestream.

Each fall, we celebrate the Jewish New Year and observe the High Holy Days. We typically announce the full schedule of High Holy Day Services in August each year.

At Temple Beth Shalom, we have a variety of Erev Shabbat Service formats throughout the month. From casual, family-oriented services, to a traditional Erev Shabbat services, to our musical services featuring the TBS Shabband, we have an engaging and meaningful way to welcome Shabbat for everyone! Our Erev Shabbat Services are held on the following schedule each month:

First Friday: Family-Friendly First Friday: This casual, fun service is perfect for families with young children. Our rabbis use music and storytelling to engage our youngest congregants in every part of the service. After our short Erev Shabbat Service, join us for dinner in the social hall! Shabbat dinner has a minimal fee for members and guests. CLICK HERE to register for First Friday Services via ShulCloud. Contact Becca via email for more information. All are welcome!

Second Friday: Traditional Erev Shabbat Services: This service includes traditional tunes, readings, and features a short Torah service* to welcome Shabbat.  All are welcome!

*Because most congregants attend Friday Night Services, they don't often have a chance to participate in a Torah Service. Because of this, we read  from the Torah each second Friday of the month. We invite individuals to volunteer to read a portion! Contact Rabbi Benjy to volunteer.

Third Friday: Shabbat Chai: Featuring our Temple Beth Shalom "Shabband," this service is filled with incredible music from a variety of talented musicians. Get into the rhythm of welcoming Shabbat with us every Third Friday! Want to join the Shabband? Learn more here. All are welcome!

Fourth/Fifth Friday: Traditional Erev Shabbat Services: This service includes traditional tunes and readings to welcome Shabbat. On the fourth Friday of each month, TBS makes a reservation at a nearby restaurant for all interested parties to join together for a Shabbat dinner after servies .All are welcome!
