Who We Are

The Temple Beth Shalom Men's Club contributes to congregational life with a hands-on approach to benefit the congregation. The Men's Club supports all Temple functions and activities, and is willing to take on any task asked of its members. The TBS Men's Club is here for the entire congregation.

What We Do
Our most notable role is in the kitchen, preparing First Friday Night Shabbat Dinners — from traditional chicken dinners and taco bars, to a popular June BBQ dinner. In addition, the Men's Club prepares and hosts the Annual Hanukkah Brisket Dinner, as well as the end-of-the-year lunch for Religious School. The Men’s Club also provides the food for the BeSTY   Purim Carnival. The Men's Club coordinates and works with the caterer for the Passover Seder, in order to keep the seder as cost-effective as possible.

Throughout the year the Men's Club assists the Temple whenever we are called upon to do so, including setting up and taking down the Sukkah,    minor maintenance and repairs, preparing onegs for special events, and purchasing items for the kitchen.

For fun, we occasionally get together for dinners out, sports watch parties, and monthly Poker nights.
