YOUTH PROGRAMMING AT TBS!

Temple Beth Shalom's youth groups enable our young members, from 3rd to 12th grade, the opportunity to build lasting friendships, engage in Jewish learning, learn leadership skills, and most of all HAVE FUN! These youth programs offer age-appropriate opportunities such as lock-ins, trips, sports, social action, games, and more!

BeSTY (9th-12th grade)

Club 56, the youth group for our 5th and 6th graders, continues the fun found in Club Chaverim! You'll find Club 56 taking trips to Magic Mountain, bouncing around at Sky Zone, and celebrating Jewish holidays around the bonfire!

For information about our Youth Programming, please contact Rabbi Lenette Goldman at rabbigoldman@tbsohio.org!

JuBeSTY (Junior Beth Shalom Temple Youth) is our group for 7th and 8th graders. Through super fun events like late-night movie screenings and great group outings, our middle schoolers get a taste of what high school Jewish programming has to offer! In the Spring, JuBeSTY kids are invited to their first temple lock-in, The Annual BeSTY Purim Lock-In. At this event, the kids help prepare the Purim Carnival and have a great time playing games, staying up late, and getting to know our high schoolers.

Club 56 (5th-6th grade)

BesTY (Beth Shalom Temple Youth) is oldest youth group at TBS. Not only are BeSTY programs fun and meaningful, but they are also planned by high schooler! At the beginning of the year the BeSTY board is formed with equal representation from all high school grades. The BeSTY board, under the supervision of our Senior Youth Groups Advisor, then goes on to plan overnight lock-ins, fundraising events, and social action opportunities for all to participate in. BeSTY kids also participate in both local and regional NFTY events like the Leadership Training Kallah!

Club Chaverim (3rd-4th grade)

Club Chaverim provides 3rd and 4th grade students with their first taste of fun youth programming. From pizza parties to ice skating, this group offers a chance to socialize with their TBS friends outside of the classroom!
